Wash & Dry:

It is best to wash your hair regularly. The best way to wash your hair is in luke warm water (not to hot, not to cold) using any brand of Co-wash. Co-wash just simply stands for conditioner wash. Conditioner wash is a way to clean your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo since shampoo is known to dry virgin hair out. After washing the best way to dry your hair is to let your hair air dry, since too much heat can also damage the hair, its best not to blow dry. If you have to just be sure to apply a heat protector first.

Shedding:

There is no absolute way to prevent shedding, It does not matter who or where you purchase your hair from some shedding will occur even if its little to no shedding. Shedding is actually normal and your hair out of your own scalp sheds also but the best way to prevent shedding starts with your installation. Notify your stylist not to pierce needle through your wefts but to sew around the weft, Piercing wefts will increase shedding and decrease quality of the hair

Styling:

It is best to try and keep flat irons, curling irons, blow dryers and any other appliances with excessive heat to a minimum. Heat can damage the hair and shorten the lifespan of your hair. Be sure to comb your hair with a wide tooth comb only and always comb or brush from the bottom up to avoid snagging and breakage. Wear a silk or satin scarf only to keep the moisture. It is also ok to clip ends every 8 weeks or when maintainence is done (this is optional)

Hair Products:

PLEASE avoid products with sulfate and silicone in them, This is a MUST!! Including your shampoo and conditioner. Absolutley no greasy products or anything with alcohol in it. If you have 5A quality hair, u need to treat it that way and using the wrong products may lead to dry, dull, and tangled hair eventually.
